Mijn naam is Johan Arts, een accordeonist van 45 jaar, wonende in het mooie Limburgse Brunssum.

De accordeon staat voor passie, muziek in de diepste zin van het woord........
Een instrument dat voor mij een verlengstuk is van mijn lichaam en ziel.

Mijn repertoire bestaat onder meer uit muziek uit de diverse Balkanlanden, Klezmer, Ierse nummers, Hollandse meezingers alsmede muziek uit de diverse Duitstalige en Meditterane landen.Kortom, zo allround mogelijk!

The accordion means: passion, music in the most universal way, an instrument that represents my thinking, the way I live, all my feelings, emotions and expression.

I play music from the Balkan, Klezmer, Irish songs, music from Austria, Germany and the meditteranean amongst others.
